Lady Gaga recently postponed the European leg of her tour because she’s been dealing with severe physical pain from fibromyalgia. And in a new documentary, she’ll be offering an intimate look into how she’s been dealing with both her physical and mental health lately.
In the official trailer for Gaga: Five Foot Two, which will hit Netflix September 22, she opens up about dealing with personal pain while managing her music, public image, and demanding performance schedule.
Gaga recently confirmed she was suffering from fibromyalgia, a chronic condition that causes muscle pain, plus symptoms like mood problems and fatigue. “I have chased this pain for five years, but when I feel the adrenaline in my music and my fans, I can fucking go.”
The trailer paints an optimistic picture of Gaga’s life at this point; she says, “I didn’t feel good enough. And I do now. That’s the good part.”
