Myths about masturbation that makes it seem unhealthy

Masturbation is not new. It was first heard of in the 18th century. And since time immemorial, people have seen it as morally incorrect and something that comes with ghastly side effects. Well, to put matters straight, it is normal to satisfy and please yourself s3xually. And it is done by people of all age groups.

Masturbation does not shrink your genitals
It is highly unlikely that a man stroking his penis and a woman rubbing her clitoris could damage their genitals. However, if people get too experimental with s3x toys or masturbate for extended periods of time, it can lead to chafing or itchy genital skin.

Masturbation ruins s3xual experience
Intercourse and masturbation are different. While masturbation is a sureshot way to orgasm, but that has never turned anyone away from s3x. So this myth is again baseless. Both men and women respond to different types of s3xual stimulation.
 Masturbation does not cause infertility
Most boys and girls start playing with their bodies early, without even realizing that they are masturbating. And there is nothing wrong with it. It definitely does not lead to infertility.

Masturbation will cause mental issues
The reason that most people do not openly discuss about masturbation is because they are told it is incorrect. So understandably, guilt is the only natural response of people who masturbate. Experts suggest that masturbation does not cause any mental or physical harm.

Makes you an addict
It is normal for people to masturbate three to four times a week and some may prefer doing it once every day. There is no set rules on how many times one can masturbate. However, when it starts interfering with your day-to-day life, it’s best to consult a counselor. However, if it’s the guilt alone that’s making you feel bad, overcome the feeling.

Masturbation does not lead to unwanted hair
This is one of the most baseless myths about masturbation. Masturbation does not give you hair in weird places.

Makes you prone to cheating
It is natural for people to masturbate even when they are in a relationship and it does not mean they are cheating on their partners or are becoming more prone to it.
