Following the backlash after a Student of Law from the University of Ilorin by name Amasa Firdaus , was denied being called to the Nigerian bar by the Body of Benchers on the 12th day of December, 2017, after she insisted on wearing her wig on top of her Hijab, the Nigerian Bar Association Chairman has spoken on this matter.
According to him, the controversy on hijab is needless, and the NBA will embrace diversity and tolerance in the Nigerian legal profession. Here are his tweets;
