2017 has been an awesome year for Nigerian music.
2017 brought us jams like Fia, Manya, Fall and many more. As 2018 rolls around, we’re looking forward to jamming to more amazing music. One of the things we wish would happen is the following Nigerian music collaborations:
1. Wizkid and Davido
Now that Wizkid and Davido have squashed their beef, it may be time for a collaboration. We just know that whichever song they collaborate on will be fia!
2. Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage
We’ve always imagined what a Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade collabo will look like? If it happens in 2018, it will be a jam.
3. Brymo and Asa
The duo of Asa and Brymo on a song will give us the kind of melody that gives goosebumps. Their combined voices, artistry and message will set the Nigerian music scene on fire.
4. Runtown and Tekno
Just thinking of this collabo is having us dancing already. A Tekno and Runtown song will be 10 club bangers in one.
5. Falz tha Bahd guy and Adekunle Gold
While they both have different styles, it would be interesting to listen to a song by these two lyrical geniuses.
6. Omawumi and Simi
Marrying the South and West will be great. Simi and Omawumi’s voices will make any song great. If we get a collabo from both of them in 2018, it will definitely be an anthem.
7. Mr Eazi and Runtown
Although we know they are beefing currently, this duo on a song will be mad! Yes, the video will be shot in Ghana and we can vibe to the jam whilst saying Ghanaian music isn’t all that.
8. Timi Dakolo and Darey Art Alade
If Timi Dakolo and Darey Art Alade collaborated, we will be getting either an epic love song, a wedding anthem or a gospel song to end all other gospel songs. This collabo, if it happens, will make 2018 great!
