Hmmmm now that Big brother Nigeria: double wahala has
started, the usu skepticism and objections have started. Going through
different tweets and posts, you will see: clamours from people wanting the show
to be scrapped for promoting indecency, staunch supporters of the show ( them
team A, team B etc), the indifferent ones and then those ones who only watch because
of the steamy sessions (wink).
I'm not a promoter of the show neither am i against the show,
I am just the objective mind here (please!)
Now concerning the show and those who are all about it being
a show of shame. Please pause a moment and look at the show from this perspective.
These twenty people (the contestants) are meant to be in their home (the big
brother house), therefore, it is imperative they get complete without minding
the cameras. For instance, we ladies don't go 24 hours with a bra in our house
(seriously). So what's the fuss about Khloe not wearing a bra??? If that's how
she feels comfortable then no biggie! But then, some people no get shame sha,
modesty is not in their dictionary (different strokes for different folks sha).
Concerning the steamy sessions, it's normal for sparks to
fly when twenty matured people are camped together (body no be firewood o). So
let's stay tuned as the romance unfolds... Miracle and nina have started
already (85 days no be beans).
Apart from various opinions of people about the show, let's
face it the show has lots of advantages that can't be swept under the carpet.
The show promotes human relations (apart from smart phones and other gadgets),
creative thinking, fitness opportunities, relationship between various cultures,
a platform for the housemates, discovery of hidden talents etc.
So let's be objective about the show, irrespective of the
slight defects and disadvantages.
(in old biggie's voice) I have said my piece!
