Rapper EVE rocks Ankara playsuit…Are You Feelin’ Her

Look?

Rapper EVE is the latest stateside celebrity to catch the African print (Ankara to us Nigerians) bug, she’s about 2 years too late with the trend but we welcome her anyway LOL.
Eve rocked the gold, green & purple playsuit with open toe ankle boots early this week in her hometown of Philadelphia where she hosted an ‘Intimate Hour’ with high school girls at the Uniquely You summit.
Honestly I’m not loving the length of the playsuit, I think shorter would have had more of that oomph effect, but she was talking to high school girls so I guess she was going for a more toned down and conservative look

and rocking the red carpet in eye catching beautiful hues.

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde seems to gravitate towards the
“bright blues”. A very smart choice we must say, as blue seems to highlight her beautiful caramel skin tone.

5 REASONS WHY YOU NEED THE OPEN BACK DRESS

A woman’s wardrobe is expected to be a haven of style, class and grandeur, offering a variety of clothes in different colour and designs. It should boast of different appeals, including the timeless and the trendy pieces.
One of the trendy pieces is the Open back dress, otherwise called the OBD, which usually comes in full length gowns, with an opening in the back. Often times, the opening is only a little one unlike the low back dress which exposes a lot more.
The OBD is for the woman who has a lot of confidence in her skin and isn’t too shy to flaunt it. It also has over time proven to be a perfect substitute for the low back dresses which many ladies may not be comfortable with because of its revealing nature.
Here are 5 reasons why you need the Open Back Dress.
Attention Seeker: If you are the type that courts for attention and loves to retain it for as long as you can, the OBD could help you do this. True that every other lady around may be glowing in their gowns and dresses, yours is sure to have a double portion since it has a ‘twist’ to it.
Flirty: Flirting usually doesn’t necessarily have to involve body language or contact, a simple act like wearing an open back dress is enough to flirt with every male guest even without speaking.
Variety Lover: Although the OBD usually comes in gowns, there exist a variety of other styles available, depending on the choice of the wearer, and depending on the style chosen; the OBD can be worn to any event including weddings, red carpet events and other similar functions.
Non-Accessories Freak: The best way to get away with being a non-accessories freak is to regularly wear outfits that require little or no accessories. In this regard, the OBD serves as a safe nest as it requires little accessories since it already exposes a lot.
Got Tattoos: Body Arts mean a lot to so many especially women who are bold enough to flaunt it. This is where the OBD comes to play as it helps to project the tattoo in a subtle yet attractive manner
