The delectable actress who was formerly known as Olutoyin Aimakhu was born on September 5, 1984 in Auchi, Edo state, but had her early life in Ibadan. She is the youngest in a family of 5 children and obtained a Higher National Diploma Certificate in “Marketing” from the Ibadan Polytechnic.
For Toyin Abraham, her acting career began in 2003 after she met actress Bukky Wright who visited Ibadan to shoot a movie. According to Toyin, she went with a friend to the movie set but was asked to fill in for a cast who was absent.
She was formerly married to Adeniyi Johnson and the marriage lasted for 2 years. Soon after her marriage crashed, she moved on to date Nollywood producer, Seun Egbegbe, but that did not also last.
After several failed attempts to find love, the actress took to drug to find solace but later got cleaned. With the many criticisms from fans and everyone out there, she stood her grounds and she has kept the game tight, one of the reasons she said she had her name changed, for a new start. Toyin believes that she would someday find love and have her own children.
She has won different awards including Best Actress in Yoruba movies at MAYA AWARDS 2017 and also the producer of the popular box office comedy movie, “Alakada Reloaded”.
