I have always been a great believer in the Principle of FOCUS. I have always thought it was necessary to sit with one thing/industry & achieve MASTERY in it before any other consideration. Every time I heard people go on about multiple streams of income, I would turn my nose up. 'FOCUS IS KEY!' I would opine. . . Finally, my thoughts on the matter seem to have crystallised & I have come to realise that the Principle of MULTIPLE STREAMS OF INCOME and the Principle of FOCUS are not mutually exclusive propositions.
The 2 actually work together! If you focus on ONE THING and do it well, it's only a matter of time before that one thing yields other things and each stream brings it's own rewards seamlessly while working together in a self-sustaining cycle/ecosystem. The beauty of it all is that even though you will seem to be doing multiple things, on closer examination, there will be a COMMON THREAD to all your entrepreneurial endeavors! (In my case, TALKING-hence the King of Talk moniker).
