We have put together a list of five top Nollywood actresses who kicked off their acting career in the 90's, and where they are right now.
Here we go;

1. Richard Mofe Damijo

Mofe-Damijo can be called the king of Nollywood. He was part of the 80's series "Ripples." He  got his first writer/producer credit for the 1997 classic, "Out of Bounds."
In 2016, he returned to the small screen with "Hush." He has also featured in movies such as "The Wedding Party," "Dinner," "3 Wise Men" and "Okafor's Law."
He is currently working on his 1st self-produced TV series titled "The X Family," which reunites him with his "Checkmate" co-star, Ego  Boyo.

2. Segun Arinze

The actor earned himself the name "Black Arrow" for his role in the unforgettable movie "Silent Night."
The actor, who is still good at what he does, earned a 2016 AMVCA Best Actor in a Drama nomination for his role in "Jaja The Great."
He is set to return to the small screen with a role in the upcoming Mildred Okwo TV series, "Bankers NGR."

3. Femi Branch

In 2016, the actor marked 25 years as an actor. He also announced his movie "Aunt Maria" in the same 2016. The actor shot into limelight in 2005 for his role as Oscar Lord-Williams in the hit series "Domino."
He stars in the 2016 TV series "Duplicity" and will be seen next in Judith Audu's "Obsession."

4. Kenneth Okonkwo

In 1992, he was the talented Andy in "Living in Bondage." In 2016, he played the hilarious Papa Ngozi in "Wives on Strike."

5. Kanayo O Kanayo

The actor started from television in 1980. He was a part of‘The New Masquerade’ where he played various roles. The actor made debut film appearance in "Living in Bondage' as Chief Omego. In 2016, he decided to give back to the society through Kanayo O. Kanayo Mentoring Academy (KOKMA), a platform for mentoring youths.
Kanayo O Kanayo also stars in the anticipated TV movie, "Lion Heart." He also stars in the ongoing TV series, "Professor Johnbull."

6. Ramsey Nouah

Nouah's acting career kicked off when he starred in the Nigerian TV soap opera "Fortunes." It has been over 20 years, and the talented actor is still delivering in must watch movies.
He has featured in successful movies such as "My Wife and I," "76" and "Gbomo Gbomo Express."
24 years after "Fortunes," the actor is set to return to the small screen with Segun Arinze in an untitled TV series by Imoh Umoreen.

7. Pete Edochie
The veteran came into limelight for playing Okonkwo in the screen adaptation of Chinua Achebe's "Things Fall Apart" in the 1980s.
In 2014, the actor won the Merit Award by the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA), for his contribution towards the growth of the film sector in Africa.
Update: The actor will next be seen in the anticipated Genevieve Nnaji movie, "Lion Heart."
