Today’s Question: What do you think of Ike Ekweremadu’s “who says the army can’t take over” comment?

Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu has caused a lot of tongues to wag with his “who says the army can’t take over” comment.
In his comments among others, Ekweremadu on the floor of the Senate said: “The problem in Nigeria is that our democracy is receding. Who says army cannot take over. Let us not joke with our democracy; that is the issue.”

Although, the Nigerian military has stated that it has no intention to venture into politics or governance as was done in the past, what’s your take on the comment?
