Kayleigh McConnon, 29, vanished from Cheltenham General Hospital last night sparking a police search.
Earlier today Gloucestershire Police urged people not to approach her because of her medical condition.
She has now returned to hospital.
A force spokesman said: ‘Officers have spoken to those she had been in contact with and offered advice.’
