Barcelona seal €41m Malcom deal after hijacking Roma move

The 21-year-old forward appeared destined to be heading for Serie A this summer, but he will now be signing a five-year contract in Catalunya 

 

 

 

Barcelona have completed the €41 million (£36.5m/$48m) signing of Malcom from Bordeaux, with the Liga giants having hijacked a proposed switch to Roma for the Brazilian forward.

It was announced on Monday that an agreement had been reached to take the 21-year-old to Serie A.
He is, however, set to continue his development in Catalunya as he prepares to enter into a five-year deal.
