Femi Kuti calls out band member who disappeared before his New York concert

Afrobeat musician, Femi Kuti has called out a band member of his who disappeared into thin air few minutes to his concert in New York.

Taking to Twitter, Femi Kuti said ”My bassist Aghedo Andrew nearly ruined my concert yesterday in New York @SummerStage ,He disappeared 20mins before show time. I want to thank the rest of the band for standing strong and giving one of the best shows of the tour.”

When asked by a followers of his on why he could have ran away, he said ”They say he ran off with a woman.”

”I’m not worried. Still have dedicated musicians that are committed to holding the integrity of the music.

”Yes .When you need people most they disappoint . Same old story .

”He has a good job. Paid quite well. Has enough money to resign properly and with all visas in his passport he can travel anywhere in the world. So that’s not an excuse.”

Femi Kuti also revealed that conclusions were drawn that he intentionally disappeared because all facts were check to see if anything bad happened to him to have caused his disappearance.

"Nothing happened to him.all facts have been checked.”
