Ex-Miss Nigeria Ezinne Akudo Shuts Down Rumors of Postpartum Marriage to Emmanuel Emenike

Former Miss Nigeria winner and lawyer Ezinne Akudo has broken her silence on ongoing rumors that she married Nigerian football star Emmanuel Emenike, revealing the long-standing claim is untrue. In a viral interview, Akudo explained she was never married, stating she only attended Emenike’s wedding as a guest and has never met him personally beyond that single event .

Addressing the rumors head-on, she said, “I’ve actually never addressed that. But I’ve never been married.” When asked if she had met Emenike, she replied firmly, “No… I have never met him in my life. I’ve seen him because I attended his wedding—his wife was someone I knew” .

Akudo expressed surprise at how the rumor refused to die, resurfacing multiple times online and eventually being treated as fact in search results. She maintained she was never married let alone divorced, or postpartum during any marriage . Her closing remark served as a caution: “If you Google it, it’s there—like some confirmed truth. But I’ve never been married, never been divorced, and I’ve never met the person in question. I fear who no fear media”.
