According to Phyna, the attack happened when she left her car parked only to return and find it badly damaged by unknown individuals. Windows were shattered, property inside the vehicle was stolen, and she was left with heavy financial and emotional losses. Sharing her frustration, she lamented that despite Lagos being Nigeria’s commercial capital, residents and visitors remain vulnerable to crimes that could easily be prevented with stronger security measures.
Phyna took to social media to appeal directly to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and state security agencies, urging them to step up surveillance and community safety across the metropolis. She stressed that Lagosians deserve to live and move around freely without fear of vandalism, theft, or violent attacks, especially in public places that should ordinarily be safe.
Her outcry has since drawn massive reactions from fans and fellow celebrities, with many recounting similar experiences of vandalism in different parts of Lagos.
