Nigerian actress and reality TV star Ifu Ennada has shared an emotional and deeply personal testimony about her survival through what she described as “death, amnesia, severe mental breakdown, and intense spiritual battles.”
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the former Big Brother Naija housemate opened up about how her faith in Jesus pulled her through a one-and-a-half-year ordeal that almost ended her life.
“Over the past one and a half years, I’ve faced death, amnesia, severe mental breakdown, and intense spiritual battles that shook my existence — but Jesus saved me from them all,” she wrote.
Ifu Ennada revealed that the experiences she went through could make the plot of a blockbuster movie, filled with pain, confusion, and divine intervention. She recalled moments where she literally thought she wouldn’t make it, but in those moments, she said, Jesus held her in His arms and carried her through.
“Everything I experienced could make a powerful script for a blockbuster movie. There were nights I literally thought I wouldn’t make it, but Jesus held me in His arms and carried me through.”
One of the most shocking parts of her testimony came when she recounted how she suddenly lost her memory on July 23, 2025 her birthday. According to her, what began as a period of recovery from illness suddenly turned into a terrifying episode. Without warning, she woke up and couldn’t remember who she was.
“It was like an unexpected plot twist out of a thriller movie. I woke up with no memory of who I was. It felt like I was on a strange planet where I had no past, knew no one, and had no purpose.”
The actress said she couldn’t even recognize her family members not even after being shown pictures and videos. “I forgot who I was, and I forgot who my family members were. Even after I was shown pictures and videos, I couldn’t remember them. It was like my entire life before July 23, 2025, was wiped clean.”
Ifu also revealed that her mother, whom she described as a “prayer warrior,” was aware of the spiritual battles she was facing and stood by her in prayer throughout the ordeal. Though she didn’t disclose all the details of the spiritual attacks, she emphasized that she owes her life and full recovery to Jesus Christ, describing her healing as divine mercy.
As she concluded her testimony, Ifu Ennada gave all the glory to God for saving her life and restoring her memory completely. Her story has sparked massive reactions across social media, with fans, friends, and fellow celebrities expressing shock, empathy, and gratitude to God on her behalf.
