Nigerian Peace Diplomat Amb. Dr. Jonathan Ojadah to be Honored as a Peace-Making Hero at Kenya's Mashujaa Day


His Excellency, Ambassador Dr. Jonathan Ojadah, the Global President of the United International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC) and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, is set to receive a prestigious honor at Kenya's Mashujaa Day celebrations. The Nigerian diplomat has been officially nominated as a "Hero in Peace Making," recognizing his influential work in advancing peace, good governance, and sustainable development across the African continent.

A Testament to Pan-African Peacemaking

Mashujaa Day (Swahili for "Heroes' Day") is a significant national holiday in Kenya, observed annually on October 20th to celebrate individuals who have made substantial, positive contributions to society. Amb. Dr. Ojadah’s nomination by the National Heroes Council is a powerful affirmation of his tireless dedication to fostering stability and making a tangible impact on lives throughout Africa.

The official recognition ceremony, slated for October 18th, 2025, in Kitui County, will be a high-profile event graced by the President of Kenya. Prior to the main celebration, Dr. Ojadah is scheduled to attend preparatory ceremonies in Nairobi on October 17th, 2025.

Hon. Angwenyi Jimmy Nuru Ondieki, MGW, Chairman of the National Heroes Council, extended the official invitation, ensuring arrangements for the diplomat's attendance.
