Police were called to a residential property on Westdale Lane West in Mapperley at 10:07 PM on Tuesday after authorities received reports concerning the safety of a woman inside. Tragically, Stephanie—known affectionately as Steph—was found deceased by emergency services at the scene, leading to the immediate launch of a murder inquiry.
Mr. Adegbola made his initial court appearance at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Saturday, October 25. During the brief hearing, the 40-year-old only spoke to confirm his personal details (name and address). He was remanded in custody and scheduled to appear next at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday, October 27.
Ongoing Investigation
In a related development, a 40-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday, October 23, on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has since been released on strict bail conditions as the investigation continues.
