Qualitative Education Should Be Free For All

A free and qualitative education should be enjoyed by every children. The children of the rich ain't the only one to have access to a good education. The poor should also have access because it's their basic fundamental rights.

We have been separated by so many things.Religion has separated us, race has divided us, politics has disconnected us. Will education also differentiate us? We should not allow this because we have our children  who are the future to protect.

A book holds a house of gold. But without the ability to read and learn how can we see that golden house? Also, a drop of ink may make a million think. But if we don't know how to use the ink, how would we impact and impart our world? This is why education is important for everyone.

What has school turned to?

Growing up, our fathers told us the importance of education in their days. We were told that school was where the rich kids and poor kids meet. They made it known to us that they were treated as one because education was free and was at its best.

Today, education has separated us and has labelled us as "rich and poor". It has created a damaged bridge between the rich and poor. Our fathers slept and didn't know when poor education became a fact of life in our generation.

Corruption has eaten our leaders up that we can no longer see their faces let alone their bodies. The goodies they enjoyed aren't there for us to enjoy. They swallowed our money and are now wallowing  in meriments with their families, leaving the poor to grimace in abject poverty.

The children of the poor struggle to study because they couldn't pay their tuition fees. Most federal universities now go on strike. To avoid strike, you'll have to be in a private school which tuition fees you can't pay even in your dreams.
A poor parent who understands the value of education has no choice than to allow his children go to substandard schools because he'll pay less. He believes, a bird in hand worth two in a bush.

The rich dads send their children abroad because they can afford the fees and avoid poor learning here in their father land. They understand that education is the best legacy but will never help the poor to get that same best legacy. Those who doesn't travel abroad, go to private schools where they pay fees that can swallow the monthly payment of the poor man.

Now, how can the poor and rich come together? Maybe it's still not rampant now. But if you should look at the future, you'll predict what'll happen.
If only our leaders can stand, work and make sure our educating system is back to standard; breathing and alive then we'll be able to save those poor children who are a lost ball in the weeds.
So that the poor and rich can come back together.

Free education is what we should all benefit from as it is in the Nigeria's 1999 constitution, section 18 of it. Free and quality education can bring us together. And that can go a long way in building a greater nation, NIGERIA.

It's time for us to rise and study hard as youths so as to become that special person to help our nation and release her from abject poverty that has befallen her due to the corruption of our leaders.

LET EDUCATION BE FREE SO THAT THE CHILDREN OF THE POOR OF THE POOREST WILL GO TO SCHOOL.
