CANCER PATIENT DEBBIE LOST DAD ON HER AUGUST 1 BIRTHDAY

It has been revealed that Debbie Osarere Idiagbonya, the cancer patient who’s currently sourcing for funds to undergo urgent surgery lost her father on her birthday, August 1.

We’re told Debbie’s father died on August 1, 2012, after battling with stroke for some time.

The deceased is to be buried on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his hometown in Edo state.

Debbie, a lab technician, came into limelight following her plea for help to undergo a breast surgery and save her life from the cancer (non-malignant lump) that has already ravaged her left breast.

The 28-year old, who had two surgeries in 2011, needs N6m for a final operation.

So far, Debbie has realised N4.5m out of the N6m needed for the surgery – most of that donation has come from celebrities, and sympathisers who heard of her situation through social media.
