FINALLY: Kemi Olunloyo, Seyi Law ‘kiss and makeup'

Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo and comedian Seyi Law are no longer at social media war.

Kemi Olunloyo made the first reconciliation move via a video on her Instagram handle on Wednesday. Seyi Law later replied “grabbing the olive branch” extended by the 53-year-old.

Trouble started a few months ago after Olunloyo called out Seyi Law over the health of his daughter.

She had taken to Instagram to warn Seyi about his daughter, Tiwa’s weight saying she is obese. Seyi Law didn’t take the matter lightly, responding to the blogger in kind.

When the blogger was remanded in prison for more than 80 days over charges related to cyber crime for her post about one Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the comedian allegedly said it was good for her. After her release, the battle continued until the comedian announced in one of his posts that it was the last time he would respond to the blogger.

Then suddenly on Wednesday, Kemi Olunloyo made a video to apologise.

Kemi Olunloyo recanted. She prayed for Seyi Law’s daughter, saying no bad thing will befall her and that when she becomes the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Law would perform at her inaugural ball.

Seyi Law responded in kind, saying the war is over. See his response below;

Aunty Kemi, I am happy we can put this matter to rest and I must sincerely say, I have no personal issue with you except for Tiwaloluwa. When you release your first post, I liked it until the blogs blew it out. I never for once mentioned your children in any of my post and your Port Harcourt issue, I said I was happy at first, but realised we all make mistakes and deserve forgiveness. The same blog made it look like I was mocking you and then you know what happened from there. I am sorry I said too many things and do hope you forgive.

If you ever heard anything after this, trust me they were interviews I granted before this month. I am glad we can lay this to rest. I wish you well in your Gubernatorial quest and hope we can always be happy for each other. Thanks for your concerns. God bless you.   'SEYILAW.
