What is your own decision about your past?- Yomi Fabiyi

I have a past and I am never in denial. Admission is the first sign of guilt and an open opportunity for pardon or leniency.

My opinion is that EVERY PAST can/should be forgiven provided nothing violent, anti-social behavior or extreme wickedness was involved then(as some extreme cases of a past are better seen as lessons, signs, warnings, which except for divine will and clearance to proceed, staying clear is the best option). Every other act in anybody's past after careful evaluation can/should be forgiven, most importantly in the game of love and coincidentally the person in question ticks your boxes.

LOVE'S BEST FRIEND IS FORGIVENESS. Do not hold anything back from your past, except if you skipped unintentionally. Lies and assuming too much smartness is a sign you still/wish to indulge in your past. What is for you will stay no matter the weight of your past. There is no problem anywhere, it is your thought. Only a past you are NOT sorry about or have truly jettisoned and invariably exhibit tendencies of re-visiting can affect your present. THERE ARE SOME PAST YOU SHOULD LET GO, YOU CANNOT BUY YOUR PAST, INABILITY TO DO SO MAKES YOU AN ENEMY OF TODAY AND TOMORROW.

Any past that causes setback is because you are still directly or indirectly neck deep in it, it hurts more and consequences are just your luggage, carry it. When you lack the "SPIRIT OF GOODBYE" in vital aspect in life, you miss the OPPORTUNITY OF WELCOME". You will hardly notice that what left is so infinitesimal to the new thing. What makes you happy is bigger than what made you sad, embrace it. IT IS NOW OR NEVER. No matter what is/are details of the past, everyone deserves a new chance, some past are for mere reference and only in rare cases.

After all, judging a past you are not part of, especially if there is/was a clear sense of remorse, genuine repentance, honest restitution and divine forgiveness, digging it up is like scratching up an already healed wound. We all have a story to tell.

My past is a promise kept, that is why I placed it where it belong, and THAT IS IN MY PAST. What is your own decision about your past too?
