Afrobeats icon Tiwa Savage has officially transitioned from the stage to the classroom with the grand unveiling of the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation. In a glamorous Monday evening at The Delborough Lagos, the "Queen of Afrobeats" brought together Nigeria’s political and entertainment elite to champion a new era of creative education and "Creative Sovereignty."
The Vision: Beyond the Limelight
The foundation isn’t just about making hits; it’s about building the infrastructure that sustains them. Tiwa emphasized that while Nigeria overflows with raw talent, the lack of formal education and professional systems often hinders global progress.
“We have so much talent in Nigeria, but we must build infrastructure and invest in education so that when people see our talent, they also see access.” — Tiwa Savage
The Berklee Partnership & Training
A major highlight of the launch is the foundation’s strategic partnership with the world-renowned Berklee College of Music. The first cohort of 100 selected talents will participate in a four-day intensive program designed to provide international exposure and professional instruction.
The curriculum focuses on high-level technical skills, including:
Film Scoring & Music Publishing
Music Therapy & Sound Engineering
Professional Music Production
Tiwa’s advice to the beneficiaries was clear and grounded: "The opportunity is already paid for. Use it wisely because opportunity favors the prepared."
A "Who’s Who" of Nigerian Influence
The event was a masterclass in industry unity, attracting governors, business titans, and musical legends.
| Category | Notable Guests |
| Government & Royalty | Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Florence Ita-Giwa, Daisy Danjuma, Shade Okoya |
